As you may have heard in the news there is currently an on-going foam shortage both in the UK and globally. One of the main chemical components of foam (TDI) is in short supply.

Foam is involved in many types of industry including furniture, upholstery, mattresses and many more. Hospitals and care homes are being given priority by our suppliers due to the need for foam in their mattresses and some PPE equipment.

Whilst we have seen supply restricted over the last few months with cumulative immediate price increases resulting in a 40% rise, we have however, managed to absorb the price increase into our sofas without raising our prices to our customers. It has been a very challenging year for our business and we have been doing everything possible to produce and deliver all orders on time.

We are receiving daily updates from our supplier and are sourcing alternatives wherever we can. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery for all our clients this year.

Our factory is currently working 7 days a week and we are endeavouring to manufacture and deliver as many orders as possible pre-Christmas. However, at this time we feel it necessary to make our customers aware that the worst-case scenario would see some orders not being able to be delivered until the New Year.

We realise that this will cause some disappointment and we will keep in touch during the next few weeks, to keep you up to date with the situation.
