The Stanhope

Description

The first leather chesterfield sofa, with its distinctive deep buttoned, quilted leather upholstery and lower seat base, is believed to have been commissioned by Lord Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield. Consequently, in the UK, the word chesterfield now describes a deep buttoned sofa. 

This is a beautifully overstuffed buttoned seat sofa, and is extremely comfortable. This product lends itself to any environment, whether that be you Modern office space, or your traditional living room.

Upholstery Selection

All our sofas are available in a choice of leathers: Antique, Premium, Hand Dyed & distressed Old Saddle.

Or, as a modern fabric Chesterfield in British Velvet or Wool.

They are now even available in 100% vegan-friendly 'faux' leather too.

Each type of upholstery comes in a variety of colours, with a choice of over 120 in total! From classics like ‘Antique Brown’, ‘Premium Vintage Hide’ and ‘Hand Dyed Chestnut’ to vibrant modern colours like ‘Amalfi Buttercup' or 'Amalfi Tangerine'.
